Automatic Lidding Machines

With a container being detected in position, the lidding machine is designed to automatically process a lid from the top of a magazine by vacuum, transport it and place it onto the container.

Once the lid is in position, the vacuum releases and the vacuum unit returns to its start position.

The container is indexed away with another container placed in position for the process to repeat itself and continue until the magazine is empty.

The magazine is controlled by a precision electric actuator to ensure that the lids are at the correct loading height until all the lids are gone, at this point the machine is interlocked to prevent any further containers being processed without lids.

The magazine table returns to the bottom awaiting another load of lids.
